Recipe

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  • Crumble & place into a large bowl:
    • 250 gms tofu
  • Add to that:
    • 2.5 tsp reduced-sodium tamari or soy sauce
    • 3 cloves garlic minced
    • 2 tbsp tomato paste
    • ¼ cup chickpea flour
    • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
    • 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • ½ tsp turmeric
    • ½ tsp chili powder
    • ½ tsp smoked paprika
    • ¼ tsp black pepper
    • Salt or salt substitute
  • Incorporate the ingredients.
  • Form the patties & place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Flip over
  • Bake for 5 minutes more, or until crispy
