Soak rice

  1. Prep rice 120g in a container

  2. Add water to it until total weight becomes 2.5 times rice. (For 120g, you’ll need to make the final total as 300g). This roughly translates to 1.5 times water by volume.

Vegetables

  1. Cut potatoes, paneer and don’t forget the peas.

  2. Chilli/Dhaniya for chutney.

Cooking steps

  1. [1 min] Ghee in cooker, add:-

    1. 0.5 spoon jeera

    2. 0.75 spoon haldi

    3. 1 tsp spoon dhaniya powder

    4. .5 tsp spoon chilli powder

    5. 0.75 tsp spoon salt

  2. [3 min] Cook paneer in the mixture until it sticks slightly.

  3. [1 min] [Add aalo, peas, rice and water. (from previous bowl).

  4. [0.5 min] Finishing touch to masalas:-

    1. 1 tsp spoon dhaniya powder

    2. 0.5 tsp spoon chilli powder

    3. 1 tsp spoon salt

  5. [3 min] Close instant pot properly, check for seal.

  6. Wait for pressure to release, around 20-25 minutes.
