Preparation

  • Start pan with 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • Put 1/2 cup fresh matar (peas) in microwave for 2 min
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons roasted besan (chickpea flour)
  • Wash and chhop 300g spinach leaves, small, but don’t stress too much, just a rough chop.

Steps

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan.
  2. Add 1 tsp jeera and sauté until fragrant.
    1. Add 2 chopped chill
  3. Add 1/2 cup peas
  4. Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add
    1. 3 tsp coriander powder
    2. 1 tsp tsp red chili powder
    3. 0.5 tsp turmeric powder,
    4. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  6. On the side, roast 4 tbsp besan for 2-4 minutes.
  7. Add the 300 grams of washed and chopped palak (spinach). Cook for 2-3 minutes until the palak is soft.
  8. Add 4 tablespoons of roasted besan (chickpea flour) and mix well. Add some milk and mix to get the desired consistency.
  9. Cook for 2-3 minutes more,
